What is your affinity, finality or infinity, do you put your faith in the Trinity or do you not believe in mysteries? Wrapped up in comforts, you’re hiding from the landslide, frightened to step outside your box in case you turn around and see there’s nothing inside. The sunset stands idle, alone and bewildered - you’re standing at the end of time, frozen in step from the spirits all around you, ‘til something drags you back from the light. The doctor has told you you’ve got to be careful, to give up the drink and the smokes. But every last lungful you promise is your last one brings that death rattle deep in your throat. Scared and alone lying in the darkness, asleep in the hospital bed, the monitor goes flat line but by the time help gets there the patient beside you is dead. (c) 2015 Martin Randle There’s people who love you and people who need you, you really can’t give up the fight. But if every thing I’ve told you makes no blind bit of difference, you’d better get used to the light.

This is the life we lead, it’s over when the goals are just in sight. Time is so fleeting you can find out you have grown old overnight. What if there is no heaven? what if there is no hell? and there’s no afterlife there is just nothing at all? Maybe there is no soul, no spirit left to answer for our sin. Maybe there’s nothing more and all we are is here within our skin. Maybe there is no valley, maybe there is no shore, just darkness and peace and then there’s nothing at all. Let me begin again, no “happy oblivion” is there no coming back, is this really the end? Let me begin again, no “happy oblivion” there’s just so much to do, let me go round again. I am still young at heart I never asked or wanted to grow old, no matter how far I go I’m still the same, I’m scared, I’m lost, I’m cold. I want there to be so much moree, I want there to be some future, I want to be sure that I’ll be back for moree. Let me begin again, no “happy oblivion” is there no coming back, is this really the end? Let me begin again, no “happy oblivion” there’s just so much to do, let me go round again. Let me begin again, no “happy oblivion” is there no coming back, is this really the end? Let me begin again, no “happy oblivion” there’s just so much to do, let me go round again. You cherry-pick your favourite bits of vitriol from the ancient scrolls just to justify your bigotry and hate. But you’re pretty damn lenient, with words that aren’t convenient when they tell you how to love and tolerate. How can you even think this way? is this really how you pray? …that your enemies be slain?, Did you think about it? or are you just sick and indoctrinated, just sick and indoctrinated? On the day you meet your deity, will he welcome you with piety or will he look into the blackness in your soul? ‘Cause if he has divine intelligence, then he can spot the difference between what’s good and right and what just suits your goal. How can you even think this way? Is this really how you pray? … that your enemies be slain?, Do you believe it? or are you stupid and indoctrinated, stupid and indoctrinated? I’d rather spend eternity in hell or deep in purgatory than 5 minutes in paradise with you. ‘Cause if you think you’re the chosen one, you really couldn’t be more wrong, judgement day was made for ones like you. (Dies Irae! ) How can you even think this way? Is this really how you pray? … that your enemies be slain?, Do you believe it? or are you just sick and indoctrinated, stupid and indoctrinated? stupid sick and indoctrinated? (c) 2015 Martin Randle

Reincarnated 04:17
(relax… close your eyes… let all the tension start to slip away… feel the energy pass from your body… out through your fingertips. Now your slipping deeper and deeper…. Deeper within yourself nice and relaxed…. Now, tell me where you are…) And the clock ticks softly and slowly, and the dust hovers still in the air, and the voice of the man drones on and one, taking me down and under. Then I’m back to a time long ago, alone in a world long ago and the voices around me drone on and one, taking me down and under. Does it mean that my spirits not mine, has it been around time after time? Does it mean that the person I think that I am, is a shell for a soul to reside in? is a shell for a soul to reside in. Take me back, take me back to a place long a go. Take me back, take me back to a world I don’t know. Is it real can I feel the ancient air on my face? If I die and my soul’s born again, will I remember my family and friends? Will the life that I’m leading mean nothing at all if my soul is reincarnated. Does it mean that my spirits not mine. (take me back, take me back to my own place and time), Has it been around time after time? (Take me back, take me back to the life that is mine), Does it mean that the person I think that I am, is a shell for a soul to reside in? A shell for a soul to reside in. (c) 2015 Martin Randle

So Solid Guy 04:12
There’s a man with a plan, gonna live forever. He knows the risks of it all, he knows that he may never, see the sunrise again, feel his heartbeat again. Signed the forms, stamped the books now he’s just a number. Said farewell now he’s in a cryogenic slumber, Frozen still in his frame, chemicals in his veins. So Solid Guy sleeps on his journey to the future, Too scared to die, I hope the new Millennium suits you. Will they know what to do when it’s time to wake you? Will there be any room for yet another human, I hope your life is secure, I hope they find you a cure. Will they try to revive you or leave you under? What could you offer them you’re just an ancient wonder, just a strange little man, from the distant past. So Solid Guy sleeps on his journey to the future, Too scared to die, I hope the new Millennium suits you. All the energy you take could save a thousand lives today. It’s just insurance in the end, all the money that you spend. There’s no guarantees at all, you might as well have blown it all - because your so afraid. So Solid Guy sleeps on his journey to the future, too scared to die, I hope the new Millennium suits you. (c) 2015 Richard Smith & Martin Randle

You said you’d live a hundred years or more but what if you don’t? If we ever have to say goodbye, if you die before your time is due, will you stay here by my side? Will you be my guiding light? Will you comfort me? Will you come for me? Will you haunt me when you’re gone? Will you stand by me and watch over me? Will you haunt me when you’re gone? You said you’d live a hundred years or more but what if you don’t?. If we ever, ever say goodnight and the morning never comes for us, will your soul lay next to mine? Will you be my orb of light? Will you comfort me? Will you come for me? Will you haunt me when you’re gone? Will you stand by me and watch over me? Will you haunt me when you’re gone? Lie next to me and be a part of me, Will you hold my hand should I cry? Will you wait for me the other side of dreams? Will you be there when I die, You said you’d live a hundred years or more but what if you don’t? (c) 2015 Martin Randle

What’s in your eyes? What makes you smile? Are the demons in there too, are you gonna let them out? Let’s take a walk let’s see the trees But the trees are twisted steel and they’ll never let you out. I’m here to help you, to help you be yourself. I’m here to help you, to help you help yourself. Let’s play our game, let’s take a ride, the sunlight on the blade, sparkles in your eyes. I’m here to take you, to take you for myself. I’m here to take you, to take you for myself. Never let you out, they’ll never let you out. As long as I am with you, you’ll never be alone until they take you to the shore. (c) 2015 Martin Randle

Come with me under the stars, take a little walk on the shore my love, see the God’s smile on us, swinging on the crescent moon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hilda Rose speaks with the dead, she hears the voices in her head. Has a place down by the sea, step inside and have some tea. She’ll tell you things she wasn’t shown, things she never could have known. See your future self revealed, take the path that is concealed. Ahh ahh ahh ahhh Hilda Rose. Ahh ahh ahh ahh mystic to the stars, Ahh ahh ahh ahhh Hilda Rose. She reads tealeaves, she reads palms. She reads faces and spins you yarns. Bring your money but have no fear, all your loved ones won’t be here. Cause there’s no spirits in this room, just the smell of old perfume, Hilda’s not out to deceive, just to earn from the bereaved. Ahh ahh ahh ahhh Hilda Rose. Ahh ahh ahh ahh mystic to the stars, Ahh ahh ahh ahhh Hilda Rose. (c) 2015 Martin Randle

The sun has cast its shadows and the darkness comes too soon, and all we’re left to see by is a pale and crescent moon. Rusted barbed wire hedgerows and trees of twisted steel, and rows of eroded engines are the flowers in this field. And the birds have stopped their singing and the frogs no longer croak, and all the lands are darkened by night time’s shadow cloak. A cold wind blows right through you and sings a haunting tune and all we’re left to see by is a pale and crescent moon. This is the valley where the footsteps walk no more the place where the spirit’s voices carry to the shore. The ocean we must travel to reach the foreign land and lonely souls stand waiting for someone to take their hand. All that we can carry is the baggage we have made, and all we can afford are the prices we have paid, all the time we’re given is the times we can recall, and how high we see ourselves is the height from which we fall. The distant sound of thunder is the only sound at all, cold drops of water as the rain begins to fall. The one’s to whom we answer, will call upon us soon, and all we’re left to see by is a pale and crescent moon. This is the valley where the footsteps walk no more the place where the spirit’s voices carry to the shore. The ocean we must travel to reach the foreign land and lonely souls stand waiting for someone to take their hand. (c) 2015 Martin Randle
